Bonjour! We had a very early start and then boarded the coach and went happily on our way down to Dover! The children have been having fun on the coach, playing lots of card games and drawing some artistic pictures.

After crossing the beautiful English Channel🚢, and eating our packed breakfasts, we then arrived in 'la belle France!'🇫🇷

After a short drive, we stopped off for some tasty lunch. Feeling happy, full and ready, we then continued on with the rest of the trip to the château!

We then arrived at the beautiful château🏰. The children enjoyed playing outside before coming in for a lovely supper. Francois, the hotel manager has already complimented our children on their exemplary behaviour!

The children then took part in a fun treasure hunt/quiz! In teams, they had to search the football field area to find the hidden letters, and collect as many points as they could!

Finally, the children then had a chance to play a few games to end an exciting first day in France!
